Bi-monthly update: 26 Weeks

How far along: 26 Weeks **

Baby is the size of a:  Scallion. We grow scallions in our kitchen (we = hub, I'm not awesome at keeping plats alive. I am currently in the process of killing a blue hydrangea).. where was I? Right, a scallion, scallions aren't that big.

Total weight gain: I gained a pound this month! I am now down only 5 pounds from starting (up 9 from lowest)

Maternity clothes: Yes, always.

Stretch marks: Nope!

Sleep: Pregnant sleep isn't the best for me.

Best moment since last update: Well, I had my glucose screen a few days ago and no one called me- so I assume I passed. That makes me very happy.

Miss anything: Not really, except the usual.

Movement: Yes, so much!

Food cravings: meh. Not a fan of food

Anything making you queasy or sick: Heartburn induced vomiting is totally a thing. So is 9-month "morning" sickness.

Have you started to show yet: YES!

Going to my cousin's wedding celebration! 26w2d

Bills, bills, bills #MicrobloggingMonday

I have mentioned more than a few times at this point that there is something going on at work. We were supposed to have an outcome on that by now, but it is delayed and causing some a lot a huge amount of stress.

I was hoping that the result would have been announced by now, since I am more than a little concerned that I'll lose my job between now and January when I'm planning on being back from leave. I carry the insurance and live in a country and state with no mandated paid maternity leave (my company will pay me, but clearly I need to work here for that to happen). Hub and I sat down over the weekend and did a budget (and then promptly blew it). I hate having this eat into my plans to pay down my mortgage and student loans.

I've been looking at a lot of personal finance blogs, but can't find one that works for my situation. I'm not willing to move into my parent's home or sell my cars to meet a goal of being debt free (honestly, I just want to gt rid of the loans because they are annoying and get some equity into the house so I can do-over my kitchen regardless of work outcome. The monthly payments are manageable and tax deductible interest.

Sooo, does anyone have some suggestions for blogs to read? I'm not interested in selling my belongings for cash, or making homemade laundry detergent to save money. Basically, I buy things for a reason and am lazy. We have read some Dave Ramsy and like the idea of paying off debt, saving 6 months expenses and for retirement/kids' school. Anyone see a blog of someone like me?

Bi-monthly update: 24 Weeks

How far along: 24 Weeks (and 4 days)

Baby is the size of a:  It’s supposed to be an ear of corn, but Suyra-Scott was over a week ahead at the last scan, so may be bigger? Who knows kins was ahead and was born fairly small for GA (7#2oz at almost 41 weeks)

Total weight gain: I gained about 4 pounds this month!!! I am now down only 6 pounds from starting (up 8 from lowest)

Maternity clothes: Yes, I tried a long, flowy pre-preg shirt and it was breezy underneath. Also, I had to break down and buy maternity tanktops for undershirts (I have lots of dark bras and pale shirts) Maternity for the duration I guess.

Stretch marks: No, knock on wood. I didn't get any last time, so I am hoping that holds true.

Sleep: Meh not awesome. See you in a year and a half, sleep!

Best moment since last update: I ran a 5K yesterday, that was fun! AND I ran it in 43 minutes. It’s a hilly course,  I was rather proud.

Babywise- hitting viability- obvi. Even since I was pregnant with kins, the numbers for survival rates have changed greatly. Outlook is looking pretty good now.

Miss anything: Race day is a drinking day, I was missing beer.

Movement: Yes! I can see it on the outside sometimes.

Food cravings: meh. Not a fan of food

Anything making you queasy or sick: Anything. Totally random. Still throwing up most days. Also, heartburn is here. Good times

Have you started to show yet: YES!

Sex: I think Girl. Nameless girl.

Labor signs: Not until at least 37 weeks please.

Belly button in or out: In, but has their weird lip on top. It's weird.

Wedding rings on or off: On, I really hope they remain so but with a summer pregnancy, who knows.

Happy or moody most of the time: I’m grumpy. haha

Looking forward to: Results of the glucose test (next week) I’m a little worried since baby was measuring big.
