One Year

One year ago right about now I was still in the hospital. There was some post-op bleeding that needed to be controlled before I could go. I never thought I would make it to this point: a year after. I can’t believed I survived. I can’t believe I’m not pregnant/ have a baby, but most of all, I still can’t believe this happened to us.

All in all, I’m alright today (so far). Feels just like another work day. I had planned on a quite night at home. Then hub got called into work and I was reminded that I have tickets to a hockey game tonight. I’ll try and write more tomorrow, but I’m just trying to squeeze this in at work.

For now: here’s to you, Blue Sunday. I don’t know where you are, but I hope that if it is somewhere  you’re happy, healthy and know I love you. Forever and Always.

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
I see your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe you're gone
